If you only have one day to see Herzegovina while staying in Sarajevo, this is the tour. We take you on a spectacular journey from the rugged mountains of Bosnia to the warm, sun-drenched stone cities of Herzegovina - from a 17th-century Ottoman bridge to a waterfall oasis at the end of the day.

The Itinerary

1
Konjic

The Old Stone Bridge

Our first stop is the historic town of Konjic, where the mountains of Bosnia meet the spirit of Herzegovina. Built in 1682, the Stari Most of Konjic is considered one of the most beautiful Ottoman bridges in the Balkans, spanning the emerald Neretva River with perfect stone arches.

Highlight: Walk across the bridge and enjoy a coffee with a view of the turquoise Neretva before we continue through the dramatic Neretva Canyon.
2
Mostar

The Heart of Herzegovina

We arrive in Mostar, a city where East meets West. The world-famous Stari Most (Old Bridge) dominates the skyline - watch local divers leap into the cold river below while you explore the vibrant Old Bazaar (Kujundžiluk), lined with craftsmen, copperware, and the smell of Bosnian coffee.

Highlight: Visit the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque for a panoramic view of the bridge and rooftops. Allow time to wander the cobblestone alleys and enjoy a traditional lunch.
3
Blagaj

The Mystic Spring

Just a short drive from Mostar lies the breathtaking spring of the Buna River. The 600-year-old Dervish Tekke monastery is tucked into a massive rock face, its emerald reflection shimmering in the pool below. The water here is so pure you can drink it straight from the source.

Highlight: Take a short boat ride into the cave opening at the base of the cliff to see where the river emerges from the mountain.
4
Kravice

The Waterfalls Oasis

We save the most refreshing stop for last. The massive Kravice Waterfalls cascade 25 meters into a natural amphitheater of turquoise pools - the perfect place to cool off in the summer heat or simply sit and absorb the sound of roaring water before our comfortable drive back to Sarajevo.

Highlight: Often called the "Pearl of the South" - take a swim in the natural pools or enjoy a cold drink by the water's edge.
